I am not really sure why I’m having really bad anxiety, I just had my third baby, my husband is great, good job, nice home, but I stress about everything under the sun, I worry my kids will get sick, I think I’m dying of something, I’m scared my husband gets in a wreck, its a constant thing. I know I need to make a doctors appointment, and I will this week but I don’t want to be on antidepressants because I’m not depressed, I just worry.

most medications intended to treat anxiety are also addictive, so many doctors do not like to treat such problems using it. Many of the newer antidepressants, on the other hand, are very good at helping to diminish the automatic response of anxiety. I suggest that if you trust your doctor to treat you, you go along with whatever he suggests for that treatment.

anti anxiety medications like Ativan and there are many more one will surely be right for you but takes time to figure that out. Talk therapy with a licensed board certified psychotherapist such as a clinical psychologist would be big help. Immediiate things u can do are cut down or cut out caffeine in coffee tea colas chocolate etc. There is much more help and better prescription meds to help u and I wish u well and good luck! cp in ct
