What can I do naturally to help my anxiety?

amor asked:

I have a bad anxiety problem. I have always been like this but now I think its starting to affect my heart. I haven’t been diagnosed with this problem but I know I have anxiety issues, for sure! Now, I don’t want xanax or any medication with millions of side affects. I want to do natural things to calm my nerves when I am agitated. Someone, help!

Exercise. When you exert yourself your body emits endorphins,a natural tranquilizer.

Begin with counseling/therapy. If the cause becomes known to you, you may not need any medication.

Yoga and deep breathing exercises are good for you. Other exercise is also a good idea.

Also, keep a journal to try to determine what’s causing your anxiety attack.

Talking to a counselor about things that make you anxious may help.

I like quiet meditation. When I start feeling anxious, I find slowing down, and counting my breath helps, especially if I focus on slowing my breathing

    Hello Amor,

The best thing to do is to seek advice and get a precise diagnosis.

I used to suffer from anxiety/agoraphobia so I can relate to you.

I was thinking too much. I had anxiety attacks when I had to speak in public. Or when there would be more than a few people around me in the same room. It was something that started when I was a teenager and that lasted over years and subsequently affected my career until not so long ago. Looking back, I feel I should have taken action way earlier. But anyway, that’s the past.

At some point, I was prescribed medicine but I wanted to avoid that because of the side effects (that’s just my opinion, do not ever quit a medical treatment without asking your doctor). That’s when I discovered a program that cured me. It is a 100% natural method. You can find it here:

The key of that technique is that you should no longer fear the thought of anxiety. You know what I mean? You are thinking too much. You have to get out of that loop.

    All the best to you.
