Your heart is racing, there’s a pounding in your chest, you begin to sweat…You think to yourself,
“AM I HAVING A HEART ATTACK?”
Symptoms of Panic Attacks and Heart Attacks can be very similar. You must learn to recognize what these symptoms are in order to rule out a more serious problem.
Panic attacks, otherwise known as anxiety attacks, can be felt physically as well as mentally. Rest assured, Panic attacks are not a serious mental illness or a disease. Attacks may last several minutes or just a few seconds.
Symptoms may consist of:
* Trembling
* Rapid heart beat, pounding in the chest
* Sweating visibly
* Felling of nausea, indigestion or bloating
* Numbness or tingling sensations in face or body
* Felling of a lump in the throat
* The urgent need to defecate or urinate
* Shortness of breath
* Chills and/or hot flushes
* Chest pain and/or discomfort
* Fear of losing control or feeling of going crazy
* Being unsteady or dizziness
* Skin blotches
* light-headedness
Doctor bills for treating Panic Attacks can be horribly expensive. In most cases, you will need to make re-occurring appointments to ensure you are doing well. Most likely you will be placed on expensive medicine, costing you quite a bit of money each and every month. The cost of medicine and doctor’s appointments combine, can leave you with very little to live on.
If your anything like me, you can’t afford to return to the doctor for check-ups nor can you afford to pay out of pocket each month for expensive medicine.
