Don’t go on medication period. Doctors don’t know what the heck they are doing anymore. Trust me. I’ve been trying for six years to fight social anixety disorder and all they do is put me on more and more and different medications. They don’t know how to treat any of it. So my best advice would be to meditate before work, and when you are home, do lots of things to distract your mind. And if you feel like you can’t handle it anymore at work, it doesn’t hurt just to take a five min break in the bathroom to calm your nerves. And remember, the world isn’t going to end, and there is always something to do to make it better. Also, try looking it up online, theres lot of people out there with anixety disorders on forums who have suggested things that maybe i haven’t thought of. Good luck, and if you ever need to talk, add me to yahoo messenger.

I tend to get this when I’m under stress. It sounds like you’re getting panic attacks. Biofeedback & breathing exercises helped me. Just try not to get overly anxious when it happens. Try to think of something else. When I went through this I started carrying some mints (or any hard candy you like), a lip gloss that tastes good, & some good smelling han cream. Those things tended to take my mind off of my anxiety long enough to step back & ask myself what the heck I was doing. When you get anxious your mouth tends to get dry too, so you can take a small bottle of water with you.

The aloneness speaks to a feeling of isolation, which is pretty common by the way. Talk therapy can go a long way toward relieving your fears and getting to the root of them. This may be your way of combatting new forms of stress or you may be suppressing something else entirely. You do need to talk to your doctor or a counselor to get to the bottom of this. If you should need medication, it’s not a big deal today. There are few side effects and any of them are better than what you’re dealing with now.

To tell you the truth when I was in elementary school I had thoughts about life and death and how the earth really exists and where we go when were dead. I used to get these ideas as I was going to fall asleep (you can tell I didn’t fall asleep that night thinking about how we lose consciousness all of a sudden)
In later years I started suffering from panic attacks, but they really were two unrelated things.
I’m not really sure what you mean by “anxiety” in your case because it doesn’t seem like you have panic attacks so maybe your just stressed or you are worried about something? Are you working at a place where you thought you would be? Most people tend to settle with jobs hey don’t really like but work to earn a living. Studies show that many people who suffer from panic attacks and anxiety are very passive people. I can definitely tell you that when I suffered from panic attacks I was a passive person. I am much more outspoken and assertive now.
Of course you should go visit your doctor for a referral to a therapist and a psychologist in the same clinic so they can assess you. They will talk to you and ask you why you came and from their interviews they will offer the best course of action. You should ask all your questions and make sure that you are comfortable following their requests always being mindful that there are second opinions if you are not interested.
You might not even have anxiety… that’s what doctors are here for.

I suffered with general anxiety disorder for years not knowing what was even wrong with me.
There are natural ways to ease your mind and make the physical symptoms go away.
This is a self-help home study course that I recommend if you’re serious about getting over this:
a lot of people say they want it to end but it’s a type of identity or something and don’t really want to find a cure. It sounds crazy but it’s true.
